My son upgraded to 9.04 via update manager... miraculously, the system kept working.
I probably should have left it alone, but instead, I updated the jaunty repos for Opengeu and now we have a problem...

We are trying to execute the opengeu-default-configurations script but although the system believes it is installed, and I have reinstalled it numerous times (along with opengeu-desktop) the script never makes it to the menus and I don't know how to run it from the terminal.

I completely removed it and opengeu-desktop because it is a dependency and somehow we are still able to log on, so I am thinking that the system is confused and using intrepid's opengeu-desktop and I don't know how to remove it.

Before I do a complete reinstall and put him back on 8.10 and threaten to chop his fingers if he upgrades it to Jaunty again via update-manager, is there anything I can try?

It seems that if I can just get that script to run, I may be ok.
