Its been months since E17 has locked up on my after I figured out that Bling was causing the lock ups.

However, just a few mins ago the system locked up and I wanted to see if it was E17 that was hung and not X.
But I couldn't find a way to issue a restart of E17 via a Terminal.

Anyone know how?  Or is it only possible from the menu.

I know how to restart X, sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart (or use stop & then start)
Or simply use ctrl-alt-backspace

Sure, you can restart E17 from a terminal, just use this command:
Code:
enlightenment_remote -restart
