Morning,
I am looking forward to trying OpenGEU but I am getting an error when I click on the link

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /geubuntuiso/geubuntu-0.74-beta-i386-M.iso on this server.  ( I did click on the development link )


I also tried downloading via torrent but it just stalls

Any ideas?

Hello mt_deb , wellcome, the last is stable OpenGEU 7.10 - Luna Nuova - i386
I suppose that the torrent which you refer is , Geubuntu 7.04 - Prima Luna - i386 , this torrent is a year ago
If you want to test the latest beta from here:

Be advised, with the beta just getting out into the wild-there aren't many seeders at all-but lots of "leechers"...not sure what can be done directly about this right now: all the packages are easily gotten through the repos, if you already have a *buntu install though.

Thanks verdegal,  the link you posted is the one I tried where I got the error ( it must be something on my end) I tried on all 3 of my computers and with Firefox, Konqueror and Opera (no go)
It has to be something dumb I'm sure as no one else is having this problem. I will keep trying though. the torrent just stays on red for me. My firewall is off and that still does not help. I am really stumped. Good lord, I wonder if for some dumb reason it might work if I go on DH's computer and try ( he has winblows ) 

Thanks for your help and I will keep trying. If I do get the torrent to start I will make sure to seed for a long time so as others can get it quicker

Thanks , I have it downloading now off of linuxtracker. I went back upstairs after I posted and tried again and it started.
