Hi all,

I've Kodak C713 Digital Camera, and wanted to copy all photos into my OpenGEU 8.10 folder.
Now the problem is OpenGEU is not recognizing my camera when i plugged in, but Ubuntu 8.10's GNOME easily detects my camera. What's the problem? Do I have to download extra plugins? (Note: I've installed OpenGEU 8.10 over Ubuntu 8.10)

Another question is, Ecomorph is not showing desktop effects when I tried to enable the effects.
My Motherboards is ASUSU P5VDC-MX. Sound card and Graphics card are installed on board. How do I enable desktop effects like rotating cubes and reflection etc in my Ecomorph? Please guide me b'cause I'm newbie for OpenGEU.

I have an asus mother/main board A8N8L with on board nvidia graphics, so far ecomorph has worked so far out of the box for me. If you have Bling or drop shadow enabled I believe they should be deselected. Does the ecomorph settings manager appear when you press desktop affects in the OpenGEU themes manager.

Yeah, when I click on OpenGEU theme switcher it displays ecomorph setting options. I've enabled the advanced mode. DropShaodw and Bling is enabled automatically after enabling desktop effect, so I've turned them off. But my problem is I'm not able to apply more desktop effects like rotating desktop cube, wobbly window, motion blur etc. I've checked all these options in Ecompiz Setting Manager.

My PC Config is as bewlo:
Motherboard : ASUS P5VDC-MX
CPU : Intel Dual Core
Chipset : Northbridge - VIA P4M800 Pro
Southbridge - VIA VT8251
VGA: Integrated VIA Unichrome Graphics upto 64 MB shared memory.
Audio: Realtek ALC653 AC'97 6 channel codec
RAM: 512MB Transcend 533 Mhz

I've also checked Graphics support from VIA's official website. It supports 2D/3D graphics porocess.
