thanks for your tips.videos available for mypaint show more of a conceptart style.specifically,i am looking for an approach with mypaint tools (which brushes to use,how to proceed etc) to create your realism.maybe,a small shading exercise (say beak of the bird)shown in few steps will be helpfull.(when you find time!).
