Thick brush strokes style
« on: March 26, 2012, 04:30:36 pm »
I intend to make some artwork with Van Gogh style, using brush strokes leaving an impression of high relief, thick oily painting. I don't know if this is possible...

To do this type of painting, we need two things. Impasto technique that involves relief and light. Like Corel painter does. It is a complex operation that requires a lot of computation.
2nd, we need bristles type brushes.
If you search on forum you can see some improvements on bristles. In a separate branch of mypaint.
For the impasto stuff, I don,t know if it is possible. Maybe a coder could give better answer.;)
