Transparent background
« on: March 16, 2012, 01:30:58 pm »
Is there a way to import an image into MyPaint with a transparent background? I'm scanning some of my work and I need to show the line art minus any background color. I want to place the line art on one layer, and paint my colors on a background layer. I know we can change the opacity of a layer, but, I don't want my line work to become transparent.

Thanks in advance,
camino1961 :)

Use Multiply blending mode for your  scanned layer.
