I want to share my Tone's Brush Set V2 ( 124 Brushes )

these are specifically made for Nokia N900 and MyPaint
but these are tested also mine Wacom Cintiq 12wx...

Hi!
I think that MyPaint works with these brushes and settings better
than on my Workstation with Wacom Cintiq ... REALLY!

and brushes are made to work "many levels" of pressure..
small pen tip produces totally different strokes than like when using fingers...
this is great benefit. Many of those brushes uses this ...

Like pencils.. you can draw clean lines (with different opacity of course) easily with small nib...
...and you do not have to worry that you jump to the "finger zone" which act as a pencil shader.

There is lot of benefits for me to use "small" Nokia N900 gadget...
there is physical keys and everything is reachable so fast..
you just draw and not think..

ONLY Problem now is that N900 and Pressure Sensitivity is so hard to calibrate..
There is a NEW Global Pressure Mapping... look picture it is so "HARD" to adjust...
(1.0 and 0.12425028578353057326726276.....) decimals...
and try that with small screen?



This is so far best I can get with... I hope that someone improves that.

There is also "some kind" of pressure bug of N900... I do not know..
But so far I am perfectly happy with MyPaint and Nokia N900... it is AMAZING!

I try to do some NEW YouTube videos about that... Old ones are such a crap now

Ok, about MyPaint in general..

I wish that someday there is some BLENDING MODES on LAYERS.
and maybe some kind of MASKING and TRANSFORMING TOOLs.

But .. so far so good. I somehow like MyPaint limits...
or I think that there is no limits.. at least what comes to Brush Engine..
Everyday I can do NEW brushes and Ideas flowing and glowing in my mind.

Now, I have to think YouTube video and make some ART!

I see you have done an excellent work with Mypaint and Nokia stuff. Thanks even i can´t test it (on nokia) also the captures and the "stylus" models are great, i would like to see in real life. hehe.

I did not see the "ghost lines"... with N900 and MyPaint.
at N900 we "must" use (look image on first post) like "Global Pressure Mapping" -curves..
they are "inverted"..

There is also some kind of pressure sensitivity bug on or something and somewhere
with N900 and MyPaint... (I think that this means that we  have very "limited" scale of pressure sensitivity in use)
BUT! WITH

MyPaint N900 pressure sensitivity is almost top notch.

I am AMAZED by myself how well it actually works!
I prefer N900 and MyPaint more than my Workstation with Wacom Cintiq

"and one thing... N900 with MyPaint produces much more cleaner lines with
eg. Ink Tools than my desktop Machine(core i7, 64bit, 12Gb... etc) with MyPaint"
--> Line/strokes TAPERING is much more cleaner and smoother in N900 with MyPaint??

How the hell you have made the background ? i love the textured look of the face. again Love to see your artwork, reminds me chichoni , simply amazing! and done in the n900 what a wondefull soft we have , good Martin and all the comunity that is growing

Very nice work. How broken must pressure be on that platform if such a curve makes things better...

As I understand your brushset is tuned for N900 I will not include it as a whole into MyPaint, but feel free to make the N900 package of MyPaint (if there is such a thing) with those as default.

My N900 Brush Set V2 will work with Desktop version of MyPaint very well... almost exactly same as with N900.
I actually using it with my Cintiq 12wx.

N900 "NEW" pressure curve is adjusted that.. all others "desktop" brushes packages work almost same way in N900.
So Tanda, Ramón, Ico-dy, Deevad ..etc. brushes work quite well with Nokia N900.

There is no much differences... but "Tone's Liner" Obviously not work with Wacom system

These can be freely download and used with MyPaint desktop..
I am glad if somebody find those useful..

I have done now lots of "NEW" brushes with MyPaint Amazing Brush Engine! 
(I include those with my V3 set in somewhere future)
of course these are personal things...

But I am very very amazed how easy is made interesting textures..
and of course emulate different "traditional" and "non-traditional" mediums..
(Watercolor, Watercolor (moist) pencils, Pencils are one of my favourite like Ink brushes,
Splashes, Hairy things, Felt pens, Airbrushes, FX, Textures, Conté, Wax crayons, ... anything is possible

This is now my favourite Painting, Drawing, Sketching Program,

I do not know about that.. maybe.

This is excellent, considering how fast smartphone market share grows. Maybe in a year or two mypaint will be used more often on phones like nokia n900 than on our old and clunky PCs.
