Today when I tried to draw a circle using a coin as a stencil I noticed that the circle was actually an oval (see picture below). I think it has something to do with Wacom aspect ratio configuration, but I can't find anything useful. Can someone please advise.

I have a Wacom Intuos4 6x9 tablet. Computer monitor is an old 4:3 CRT model. Operating system is Ubuntu 10.11.

As far as I know, at the moment, you have to configure this manually. I have the opposite problem: my screen is wide and the tablet "normal". I also prefer to have a bit a smaller active area. I use the bash script below to map the bottom area of my tablet. Obviously you would have to change it for your needs.

That's a really great script. I'll save it in case I need it later. I did a bit of searching on the Internet yesterday and found out that there is an option in Wacom Linux driver that enables tablet to emulate your screen aspect ratio:

In Ubuntu it's in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-wacom.conf. It helped me to solve this issue.
