Artbook PDF from a video file
« on: May 16, 2012, 01:29:17 pm »
Hi,

I would like to share a script that I wrote inspired by this tutorial: http://www.ctrlpaint.com/home/2012/5...ng-stills.html

The script generates an Artbook PDF capturing stills from a video file. Very useful to study composition...

Here is a PDF generated with the script:

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6YOSJrQ5WkfZWNVVHV3aDJ5TEU

The command to generate the example PDF was:

Code: [Select]
$ ./artbook.sh big_buck_bunny_720p_h264.mov "The Art Of\nBig Buck Bunny"

You can download the script here: http://pastebin.com/10BFheLT

The script is for linux. Porting to Windows or MacOs must be easy.

Regards.
