Well, at the moment i'm trying to install OpenGEU through Ubuntu 9.10, on AMD64, although it says some dependencies, like opengeu-artwork-usplash can't be found. Should i wait until the iso comes out or has anyone else had this problem and worked around it?

Just my opinion...But I would wait on the Iso. Many, many issues.

I had the same problem but here I was told that packages for amd64 are not yet ready. Just wait.

Just as a request: I would like packages for amd64 are available before neither iso, i386 and amd64.

The package dependencies are apparently still broken in 64-bit Karmic. Any ideas when they will be fixed? I'm doing a series on my blog about available E17 implementations. OpenGEU is my favorite, but I can't get it to install from packages. Thanks!

FWIW, I created a 32-bit Karmic VM and was able to install Quarto into it from the repositories with no problems. I wrote about it here. Very nice package, as usual. So, it indeed looks like the 64-bit packages are not complete on the repository.
