The Aurora OS project, formally Eeebuntu, has been two components I feel would be worth integrating into the new debian OpenGEU.
1. The Exogenesis installer, a simple graphical installer for debian.
2. The Jupiter ACPI Control for easy access changing power saving options, screen resolution, and other generic device controls.
