Any MD5 or SFV files available for verification?
« on: September 28, 2007, 12:37:04 am »
I just downloaded the Moonlight version (geubuntu-0.74-beta-i386-M.iso) through the .torrent file.   I'm not sure if I have successfully downloaded a clean ISO file.    I ran the CD check option upon bootup.    Yes, the CD failed this test.    I want the MD5 or SFV file to test the ISO file itself.

Another observation - I saw extremely sluggish behavior upon the login screen.   The mouse pointer and the second hand on the clock at the top of the screen would only move sporadically.   That's another reason why I suspect my downloaded file may be bad.

Thanks for reading.

Uhm, sorry about it. Try to download the version from the secondary server. Remember to rename it to .iso because it has a fake zip estension, otherwise the server wouldn't let people download it.

Hi, for the moonlight edition, right now, there's no host available. We only have a torrent download available, sorry. It's hard to find an host for files that big. Maybe with time we'll become an official Ubuntu distro, who knows, and in that case we'll surely have hosts... for now it's just a dream :)

As for the 64 bit version, there maybe one in the future. Now right now, though. We are already working too much for a i386 version and nobody is willing to help, so the time is what it is and it's running out :(
