First of very nice distro, seems much less buggy than Elive and is very fast on my old Thinkpad T-23. Question is about Eclair as I haven't used it before and didn't find much documentation on the web about it and "No manual entry for eclair". I see that I can drag and drop mp3's to the play list window but nothing plays so how do we get music to play in Eclair? Also VLC comes up as the default player for mp3's. I am willing to give it a try because it looks nice and matches the E themes before I install Exaile, Amarok or XMMS.

Actually before you install any of those. check out songbirg. http://www.songbirdnest.com/ very nice player and organizer. The best way to install it is to use automatrix. http://www.getautomatix.com/
As foe eclair, does it play when you click the play buttons?  To me eclair is not a total player solution.

I won't use Automatix anymore. When the play button is pressed Eclair just quickly goes from one song to the next all the way through the playlist without playing anysongs, they just highlight and go to the next song. XMMS works. Playlist is not functional in Exaile, cannot drag songs to playlist even, never seen it do that before.

Found a .deb for songbird and it works pretty well.
